American Lodestar is a national model of what happens when citizen teams work together across ideological lines to benefit their communities. By democratizing civic engagement to give all a voice, we are developing new ways to turn ideas into action. Our goal is to prove that empowering local activation can lead to America-wide solutions.
Severe polarization has become the defining issue of our era, dividing the nation and paralyzing our political institutions. We are focused on facilitating solutions that extend far beyond elections. This is about empowering people to do for themselves what those in “power” have not delivered. Our projects – both AMERICAN LODESTAR (local empowerment and activation), and NEXT AMERICAN MOONSHOT (national awareness and engagement media series in development) are components of a 360-degree campaign which gives rise to exceptional ideas that can reshape our communities to the benefit of all Americans.
